BAY AREA
after work today, i'll be roadtrippin it up to the Bay for an engagement party for my friends Brian and Kelly. we all used to kick it in college before everyone (except kimbo) decided to move to the bay area....hey guuurrllll...we can hold down this city with just the two of us! so it'll be me, kim, sarah and traffic heading up the 5 North. For any of you in Kettleman City, we usually pit stop there for gas and grub....look for the black toyota, two hot white chicks and the asian mexican-looking dude. i love roadtrips...especially if you have good company (which i do) and good music (which i have).
I'm SO excited to see everyone.....corey, stephanie, kelly, brian, and i'm sure many more other homies. it'll be a luah, followed by a scavenger hunt around the city and then a house party in and around berkeley. should be a fab-o time!
one of the drawbacks (besides leaving the LA bubble) is that i won't see my man for the weekend...which we decided is a good thing. I've been hanging out with D (first initial of his name) incessantly. i can hardly get enough of him. my friends adore him and i smile constantly around him....what else do u need? i gotta give my cheeks and dimple a rest....ya know! but it makes me all the more excited to come back to LA!
anyhoo...i hear its been hotter than a motherf'ker up in the bay area, while los angeles is dealing with overcast skies and nippy nights. i wonder if i should pack my UGZ or patent leather dior-esque sandal thongs.....hahahhahah...riiiiighht.
